Hikvision regularly releases firmware updates for cameras and NVRs. These updates include security patches, performance improvements, and new features. Without health monitoring, you would need to manually download and install firmware on each device — something most customers never do.

With health monitoring, Wilsons Systems pushes updates remotely, keeping your system secure and up to date. This is handled during low-usage periods and requires no action from you. Your system stays current without a single site visit.

Firmware updates are particularly important for network security. Outdated firmware can have vulnerabilities that could be exploited. Our monitoring ensures your system stays patched, reducing the risk of unauthorised access to your cameras or network.

Affordable, Proactive Protection

Health monitoring is available for both new and existing Hikvision CCTV systems:

• ✓ New installations: health monitoring is included free for the first year, then optional renewal at £5/month or £50/year
• ✓ Existing Hikvision systems: can be added — please contact us before signing up to the Hik-ProConnect portal yourself, as we may need to run a firmware update on your recorder to enable health monitoring features
