Doors, Gates & Garages

Every door, gate or garage gets its own Paxton10 controller, so each opening works independently. With the PoE controller, a single network cable powers both the controller and the lock.

Paxton10 runs on its own Paxton10 Server and is managed in a web browser on a PC or Mac, or remotely through Paxton's apps. Once it's in, our Wilsons Support Package keeps it running: software updates applied and tested, user and key changes handled for you, remote health checks and priority call-outs.

It doesn't rely on the internet to open doors day to day. A connection is needed for remote management, multi-site systems, updates and issuing phone keys, and we set that up securely. Because we also install intruder alarms and CCTV, your whole security setup can come from one contractor.

Paxton10 is Paxton's combined access control and video management platform. Doors, users and cameras are managed from one web-based system running on a Paxton10 Server, and a single system scales from 1 to 1,000 doors and up to 1,000 cameras, across as many as 100 sites.
That depends on what you choose. We offer a Wilsons Support Package that keeps your system looked after: software updates applied and tested, user and key changes handled for you, remote health checks and priority call-outs. The Paxton Entry app, for answering Entry door panels on a phone or tablet, is a per-user monthly subscription. Every running cost is set out clearly in your quote.
Yes. The Paxton Key app turns an iPhone, Android phone, Apple Watch or Wear OS watch into a key over Bluetooth. Keys can be issued or removed remotely, so you never need to collect a fob from someone who no longer needs access.
Not to open doors day to day. An internet connection is needed for remote management through the apps, multi-site systems, software updates and issuing phone keys. We set this up securely as part of the installation.
Net2 is Paxton's established PC-based access control system. Paxton10 is newer, web-based, and combines access control with video management on its own server. Both are still developed by Paxton. If you already have Net2, see our Paxton Net2 support and upgrades page.
Paxton says most third-party IP cameras can be added to Paxton10, but the hardware used to record them has changed recently. We check compatibility for your specific cameras at the survey stage rather than promising it up front. We are also CCTV installers, so we can advise on the best camera setup either way.
Yes. We use Paxton10 on properties where a homeowner wants one system for the front door, gates, garage and outbuildings, with phone keys for the family and scheduled access for housekeepers, gardeners and contractors. It suits larger homes around Lytham St Annes and the Fylde villages particularly well.
